In most stores, bags end up on the floor or on the seat next to the guest. The Cubby-End Booth builds a storage niche into the booth end: an open box below the arm-height end panel, lined in warm wood and framed in brass-tone metal, deep enough for a handbag or a folded coat.
Construction. Hardwood and engineered-ply frame; horizontal channel back in four rolls; single seat cushion in high-resilience foam; squared end panel with mustard piping (shown) and an integrated wood-lined niche framed in metal; recessed walnut-tone plinth.
In the program. The cubby is part of the end module, not a site-built add-on, so it arrives identical at every store and can be specified only on runs that end at an aisle. The rest of the run uses standard straight modules.
Rollout notes. Cubby ends ship as separate labelled modules with the run. The niche is pre-finished at the factory; installers only bolt the end to the adjacent module.
Where it works. Booth runs ending at the main aisle, cafe chains with laptop and shopping guests, and stores where bag hooks under tables are not practical.
Options managed as revisions. Cubby on left, right or both ends; niche lining finish; cover; piping color; back height; length in 12 in (30 cm) steps. Foam specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
